Reminders not working

Program reminders not appearing on screen. The list does show up on guide but at time of program reminder does no appear 

Every once & a while the reminder pops up on screen at time of show but its intermittent but most often not working anyone else reporting this issue?

Same here.  I have 4 reminders set every day and none of them work.  My xFinity1 refreshes daily but the reminders haven't worked for about a week now.

IS ANYONE FROM THE TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT READING THIS THREAD? THERE ARE OVER 40 SEPERATE CUSTOMERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. @mike8020 do you know how to get technical people to acknowledge this issue? I'm not sure how to escalate this complaint to the proper channels 

IT DOESN'T SEEM LIKE ANYONE FROM XFINITY IS SEEING THIS THREAD.

i have multiple reminders set several daily & several "series" reminders. They do show in the guide under the scheduled reminders section. However at the time of the individual show the reminder does not pop up on screen this started around 4/9/2020 or so. I should note that every person responding to the "reminders not working" reports the identical issue leading us to believe its a software glitch. Customer service sent me a new box (a wild guess of the person's part) but since so many have the same issue I doubt it will help. The person tagged has been gathering information since this started too & somewhere in this long thread he listed the "about" software date. If you csn read through the thread you'll find much more information  @Mike2020 can you add anything?

@hifi459  Apologies for the issue and the experience that you (and a few others) have run into. 

 

Our X1 engineering team has asked if you are able to provide/post some specifics around the reminders you have set - what shows and programs? That information will help tremendously in tracking down this issue.

i was chatting online with tech support and advanced tech support.  to answer your question, NO, no one from xf reads these.  the best we can do is flood tech support (chat & phone) with problem tickets.  i was told they've gotten "some" complaints about "Reminders" but not enough to sound an alert to programmers.

tmz.(fox29 ) Daily at 3pm est. & 7:30 pm est. 

Curse of oak.island weekly (discovery)Tuesday at 8 & 9 pm

All these are set weekly & or daily

There are many more & none work

For me, this has been a problem independent of channel or program for which I set a reminder,i.e. it can happen for any channel or program that I might watch; recent examples: ch 4 (ABC, e.g., For Life), ch 5 (NBC e.g., Chicago Med), ch 7(CBS, e.g., NCIS), ch 9 (PBS; e.g. Belgravia), Showtime (e.g., Homeland), USA (e.g., Better Call Saul), Hallmark (e.g., When Calls the Heart), etc.  Initially, I thought it might have something to do with setting reminders for future days and then powering down at night (now called "sleep" mode) somehow causing memory loss.  I tried just setting a reminder for a show later in the same day (without turning off the set-top/TV) and that seemed to work some of the time, but still not consistently.  I have been using reminders for years (or whenever they first became available) and did not have a problem until last week when I think I got the latest X1 update which, for me, is Release 112.0.2 which is timestamped 04/09/20 2:32 PM and is paired with XRE Protocol Version 2.8.0.   If it matters, I am in the Seattle, WA area Comcast system.

same circumstances as those of @mike8020 . Ive even set a ramdom reminder for an upcoming show to test if it works & that shows reminder doesn't pop up when scheduled. I'll add the problem is constant regardlesd of the show, (individual or series) or day or time of the week or weekly .
