Green screen

I'm getting a green screen when I switch to HDMI. It flips between green and black. The Xfinity flex isn't working. I've tried unplugging and reconnecting same thing. No issues with internet because everything else is working properly. Do you have solutions?

Can you try a different HDMI cord and input?  That’s usually means there is an issue with the HDMI connection b/w the flex box and TV.

I'm experiencing major green screen issues. Tried reboot several times, pulled out cable then reattached, but still green. Guess next step has to be Comcast technician?

I have the same issue. I get the welcome screen, screen flashes, then a solid green. I've tried unpluging video *both ends) and power, and tried it on all three inputs to my TV. Same result.

Hi, @user_3f2ff0! Have you tried a different input or HDMI cable?

Same issue. Turned the tv on this morning and screen was just solid green. Tried unplugging HDMI and power cord multiple times with no outcome. When I hooked it back up I got the “welcome” screen then right back to green it goes. This is my 2nd box in under 2 months. If this box is no good I’m cancelling my subscription. This is ridiculous

Thank you so much for reaching out through Xfinity Forums! I am so sorry you are still having issues with the new box. We definitely want to get this resolved for you. Have you tried replacing the HDMI cable as well?

Same problem. Green screen, ran through all troubleshooting, no change. All other devices work, so not a television issue. In previous post you say try a different HDMI cable? How does cable work in on minute, and then just stop? Cable is never touched, or is not loose…don’t understand how that happens. Have X1. Please help if you can.

HDMI cables can go bad so we do always recommend trying a different cable as a basic troubleshooting step. If you have already tried a different HDMI cable I'm happy to go through some additional troubleshooting steps with you to see if we are able to resolve the green screen for you. Please send us a direct message to "Xfinity Support" with your full name and address to get started.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

I have the same issue. I get the green screen when plugging my xfinity flex box into my tv. I have switched HMDI inputs on my tv (no improvement) and have also verified that the HDMI cable itself works fine (used it to connect my computer to tv). So it is looking like the issue is the Xfinity flex box.
