DVR NOT Recording - Red Circle with /

DVR NOT Recording - Red Circle with X, 7% full, Network works fine, I have dual WAN 2.4 GB/s Xfinity and AT&T, Been working fine for years, all of a sudden 3/14/2026 no recording is allowed.

Hi @user_6moxf1, please keep in mind that uploading a comment or post with all caps is against the Xfinity forum guidelines that can be foundhere
As for the DVR issue, it seems that our engineering team was able to get this resolved today. Are you still experiencing issues?

I did not do anything. I just kept checking throughout the day and then I checked again and it was magically working again.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

 

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

 

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon 

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
