Display clock on Xfinity box?

I have a new XFinity cable box (HD with DVR). Is there a way to display the time on the front of the cable box?

The newer boxes do not have a display on the front that can show the time.

@XfinityAirelle the new box records in the cloud not on the box. Is this correct? Also agree, there should be a clock on the dvr.

If you have our new 4K DVR, the traditional HDD (Hard Disk Drive) has been replaced with a new silent SSD (Solid State Drive), so it still stores your recordings to a local drive, and just backs everything up to the cloud.

 

I actually had issues with losing the clock display when I upgraded to the new DVR myself. I never realized how much I depended on that throughout the day to check the time. I ended up getting a $5.00 digital alarm clock on Amazon and placed it on top of my DVR, so I still have a clock when I look up at my entertainment center.

I actually decided to do the same; however, it is concerning that the box seems hot and I wonder about putting anything on top of it. So irritating.

I Did the same thing and don't even notice no clock on the box.
