Connecting Bluetooth Speaker to TV Box

Thank you for the free bluetooth speaker but should I be able to connect it to the cable box?  I do not have a "bluetooth devices" option when I navigate to Device Settings > Audio > Bluetooth Devices. The model number on the box is AX013ANM. Does this box have bluetooth? If not, how do I get a box that does?

@XfinityJorge  As I indicated, I do not get a Bluetooth Devices option as listed in step 2.  I don't see any mention of Xi5, Xi6 or XG1v4 on the box. Does that mean my box doesn't support bluetooth? If not, how do I get one that does?

We appreciate that information and want to thank you for taking the time to look further into this, @jchiil13. The ax013anm is our XG1v3 device and does not support Bluetooth at this time. You can look into swapping to the Xi5, Xi6 or XG1v4 X1 cable boxes with your current one by reaching out to our Care teams and having them place the shipment order or checking with your local Service Centers and they can help as long as they have some in stock. The quickest way is the Service Centers as you can usually walk in and call beforehand.

We can create the shipment order for you as well. To get started, please use the chat icon in the upper right to enter Direct Messaging. From there, go ahead and compose a new message to "Xfinity Support" and send us a message with your name and address.

  • - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
