Xfinity needs to compensate users who were not able to claim rewards due to this problem that prevented them from access, and now, of course, the good rewards sold out already (free movie and gift card).

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

You understand, right, that rewards selling out is one thing, but being unable to access them in the first place and thus not even having a chance to get the rewards is another thing.

Just got off the phone with support. I was on with regular tier 2 support.  The membership rewards team seems to be a really small division of Xfinity. He said the only way for other support teams to actually communicate with membership team is through a chat messenger rather than the normal support channels. He said that normal support would just go in circles for this very reason. I assume that is why it has taken so long for anything to even be done and I still don't think anything has been done yet. Hopefully this will change.

At least now it's in the correct issue queue and should be seen by people that can fix it.

@XfinityFrank No, it is still broken. Same error. It is still early Monday and hopefully they are working on it. I cannot imagine a higher priority issue that the membership team would be facing. This is very public and Xfinity is definitely losing trust with loyal customers.

https://customer.xfinity.com/membership: Shows the following error and nothing else on the page:  A rendering error occurred: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'fields').

A rendering error occurred: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'fields'). still occurring 5 days later with the Member Benefits.   No valid response from your AI customer service bot.   It looks like the change to yahoo email and some other security change disconnected my comcast.net email form my account I am having issues frequently even logging in to pay my account.   It changed the default email and my status as a diamond member.  No Member benefits for about a week.   No customer service number to get help and just an AI chat bot that is no help.   I think it will just be easier to cancel my service and choose a different competent internet service provided that doesn't ignore customer issues and send them to an AI Bot.   Terrible service!!

I understand how frustrating this has been, and I’d like the opportunity to help. We’ll need to complete some troubleshooting and check the connection from our end so we can gather the necessary information to properly report the Rewards website issue to our engineering team. Let’s work through that together. Could you please send our team a Direct Message with your name and service address? Our team can take a further look at this issue.

To send a Direct Message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Messaging chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it

I also have the error "A rendering error occurred: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'fields')."
I got it Thursday, also missed out on the rewards, and still have the error. I tried troubleshooting, cache clearing, multiple browsers, and the phone app, all the same error.

I have been having this issue for the past few days. I have done all the troubleshoot steps and I am still getting this error. I have attempted logging in on both the app and the website. Since we have established that this is more than likely on Xfinity's end, have they come up with a way to fix this issue?

After DM, I have a ticket open. Here is the message from that:
I was actually able to speak with a live agent, and they reported this has been reported by others like you stated but has not been declared a known issue and being tracked. The agent has sent this to our engineering team and is going to report through the ticket when there is an update. He stated this can take up to 3 to 5 business days.

Appreciate the update. It's disappointing to see how low of a priority this is. I was told it could be 14 days.

I also have the error "A rendering error occurred: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'fields')" when trying to access the membership benefits. Have tried all the suggestions Xfinity listed.

Would be a shame to miss out on two weeks worth of membership benefits. Is there any thing Xfinity can do?

@user_yt0u2x

We understand your concern, especially since you're missing out on Membership benefits while trying to resolve this error. Those benefits are meant to reward you for being a loyal customer, and we certainly don't want you to miss opportunities to enjoy them!

We've seen similar reports from other customers, so we'd like to investigate whether there's a broader issue affecting the Membership benefits page. Since you've already completed the suggested troubleshooting, we don't want to have you repeat those steps.

While we can't guarantee that missed benefits can be reinstated, we can look into the issue and determine what options may be available.

Can you confirm whether you're able to access the rest of your Xfinity account normally, with this error appearing only when you try to access your Membership benefits?

Unable to access my promo benefit for Calm 4-mos trial offer, unable to access the $1 movie offer - also missed out on $10 Dunkin offer since the benefits site is completely non-functional!  Also note that Xfinity deleted all my previous comments on this issue and blocked account!! If this happens again, I will be escalating to the main Xfinity support and all the other customer communication channels. Clearly they don't want a written track record of their complete failure to address customer concerns.  I'm sure I'm not the only one by now that this happened to.

Just like everyone on this thread I to am getting the same issue. And yes tried different browsers cleared cache and data. Uninstalled and reinstalled app nothing work. So if the reps see this don't suggest any of it. Was on the phone with a rep yesterday told me give it 24hrs. Gave it 24hrs guess what still don't work! Why have a membership program if you can't even run it right!

It's been a week now & I'm still having the same problem.  I have tried all the troubleshooting suggestions, but of course they don't work because it's a problem on Xfinity's end. I also missed out on all the new rewards last Thursday, & it looks like I'll be missing out on this week's as well.  I must say, I'm not feeling like a "Diamond" member--more like dollar store cubic zirconia!  Sadly, nothing new.
