False advertising from Xfinity Mobile buyout program
I switched from Verizon to Xfinity Mobile a few months ago and it has been one of the worst experiences of my life! At the store #102 the sales rep had said that once I payout my contract with then Verizon that I would be getting a 500 dollar reimbursement. After applying for the buyout program and paying 516 dollars to pay out the Verizon contract, I was told to be in the lookout for an email with the card. When I received the email it’s only for a 200 dollar gift card, later that week I cal Xfinity and talk to a sales rep that she had escalated it and that it should be fixed shortly. Weeks goes by with no response, called again and asked to talk to a supervisor. Supervisor told me that I should be getting the rest of the 300 though my email and to keep an eye out. Weeks went by with nothing. Called again and they said that I only qualified for the 200 with no explanations as to why. And not only that but my prices are nothing like the original sales rep has promised. They will do
anything to bring you over as a new customer but then they stop caring and don’t have good business practices. Not happy with my switch to Xifinity Mobile, I do not recommend their services to anyone!

I’ve had the same general experience. I tried to bring over my families 6 lines per the sales rep at the store this should be no problem. 3 of those I paid off $300-400 each with Att and then during the intake process at with Comcast I ran into two problems:
1) The first phones “coupon” via email has never arrived and I’m still chasing it down 2 months in.
2) There is some kind of cap on the number of devices you can put on the 24 month payment plan. Of course my salesmen tried to transfer 2 of the lines I paid off last. I ended up having to transfer them with no promotion and no new device. 2 months later I’ve been forced to wait two billing cycles to upgrade these devices that cost me $700 in total just for moving them to Comcast. Most recently I tried to take advantage of the Black Friday deal and the chat representative said I could not until Dec 4th which was after the end of the promotion. That representative told me it didn’t matter I could still get the deal which is apparently not true. I have the transcript.
Honestly the only thing keeping me with Comcast mobile is how hard it would be to switch out and now being on the hook for the new phone I have. The system is too complicated for the in store reps who have 20 people waiting in line with more problems to solve while they try to help you.

On 12/6/25 I accepted an offer to move my mobile phone from Verizon to Xfinity. When going through the steps of the conversion, I told the telephone rep that Verizon advised I owed $271 on my Verizon phone. THe Xfinity rep told me that was OK as Xfinity would buyout that contract so I would not owe that amount to Verizon. However, when I later checked all my Xfinity transaction emails there was no confirmation of the contract buyout. So on 12/10/25 I called the 800 number and spoke with Tommy who repeatedly told me my account was "perfect" and the contract buyout was done and I will receive word within 7 days. As of 12/23/25 I have not "received word" and I have a bill from Verizon for the contract buyout. Mobile account #10282 64708
How can I get this resolved?
