Xumo resets constantly
Moved into an apartment and xfinity is the only game in town. I have their router and got their Xumo for streaming. Maybe a month in, this thing keeps restarting my tv. At first it will be with quite some time between restarts, but keeps speeding up until my tv is just blinking on and off. It's even crashing youtube then playing a new video from the same channel upon reopening. I saw a post from 3 years ago with the same issue. Cool that this is a persistent and unresolved issue for a company of this size. Any solutions, community?

Since posting this (yesterday) I've received two phone calls from Xfinity where no one says anything and then they disconnect the call. Am i being bullied/gaslit by my ISP for posting? 😂

I can understand how frustrating it would be to have your TV constantly restart and apps crash, especially when you're trying to relax and enjoy your service. That's definitely not the experience we want for our customers.
So we can better understand your setup, can you tell us what make and model of TV you're using as well as how your Xumo is connected to it? Also, does it only reset like this when using the Xumo or does it do it reset when using other devices or connections?
Additionally, can you share with us any troubleshooting steps you've already taken such as swapping out any cables, or power cycling equipment?
Any additional details you provide will help us to better understand what's happening and how we can assist you better with achieving a resolution.
