tv box not working

Hello Xfinity.  I have been a Comcast (Xfinity) customer for three decades. Currently, I have a "legacy" (circa 2012) Comcast TV box. Despite attempts at rebooting, unplugging, securing cables, securing power source, running ""Auto" program, ensuring HDMI 1 connection, pressing the "reset" button for 10 seconds continuously and other steps, the TV box does not respond.

I've kept the TV on while performing the above diagnostics, the monitor reads "no signal" (despite all cables being securing fastened). The TV box has not responded by turning on any lights. My neighborhood including immediate neighbors serviced by Xfinity are receiving normal service.

Please advise. Thank you.

I am surprised your Legacy Box has lasted that long. Your cable box needs to be replaced.

You mentioned that all cables are securely fastened, and so far all of the tests that you have done are right on par with what we'd have you review, can you tell me if the equipment is currently connected to the original outlet that has had our services for 3 decades? And, I must say, we appreciate you reaching out and your tenure with us! ❤️We'll get this signal issue resolved with you one way or another!
