my suggestion is for you to make your inquiry on the reddit page of comcast/xfinity. - I have heard people having success that route, not so much success via this forum.
Hi @fehmann unfortunately cable cards are currently being discontinued. Some stores may have some in stock, but it is not promised. I will suggest going to a local store to check availability, but for the most part they are a thing of the past. Xfinity streaming app is a great alternate choice if that option is available for you.
Our TiVo is still working because we have the Motorola cable card. I'm assuming by your comment above that eventually we will be affected as well, correct? We also have one of your X1 boxes and I have to say it leaves a lot to be desired after having been using TiVo's since 1995. To that end is there any chance of seeing any improvements in your software for the X1?
Hello @user_klpl48. Thank you for reaching out on our Community forum. Yes eventually cable cards will not be supported at all anymore. When it comes to our X1 boxes we are constantly working on improvements so you will see that continue as well.

My original post was prompted by the simultaneous disabling of 2 Tivos, a Bolt and an Edge. The next day I heard from a friend in another state with the exact same story.
Hey @fehmann Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We are happy to assist you with your account if you are seeing an issue with cable cards. Please let us know if you are still seeing the cable cards disabled. As mentioned above support is very limited for cable cards as they have been discontinued. If you have made changes to your service recently this may be why they are now disabled.

Coincidence? Unlikely.
