yes I have the service. I have the Motorola RNG200N box I use to be able to record from the app until Nov. of 2021. I can record from the streaming app but I want the shows to record on my cable box.
When you use the Xfinity Stream application to record, it saves the recordings locally on the physical DVR. If you are able to successfully use the Xfinity Stream application to schedule recordings, we recommend using that application for future recordings.
That shouldn't happen as you do not have a Cloud DVR model set-top box. If you are unable to use the Xfinity Stream application to process recordings, you will need to use the physical set-top box to schedule recordings or swap the set-top box for an X1 Cloud DVR model set-top box for local/cloud video recording.
If you would like one shipped, we can go over any possible charges for swapping out the device if you are unable to visit a local Xfinity Store for swap.

my Xfinity streaming shows can only be seen on my computer or iPad,thats why I want to use the Motorola box so I can watch them on my plasma tv
