Pair cablecard with a new TIVO

I need to move the M cablecard from a TIVO bolt that died to a TIVO edge. Tried using the online cable card activation but not successful. Tried to contact customer support but it does not respond to "Cablecard installation" as the problem, asks me if I want to restart equipment in response to a service change, and when I respond "no" disconnects.

If http://www.xfinity.com/activatecablecard doesn't work you'll probably need to use chat, or call them at 1-877-405-2298 and ask for "CableCARD Repair".

Maybe @ComcastTeds will take a look at this for you. He often is able to fix CableCard problems that the automatic system and the phone and chat reps fail to correct.

Hi Bruce. I have called that number several times, there is no response to any message with "Cable card" then it routes to the outage response as above and disconnects.
