HD channels no longer available?
Up until 10 days ago, I was able to watch the local channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX etc) in HD with my main set top box a Motorola DCH3200. All of a sudden, those screens are blank and I have to watch in letterbox and SD. Has something changed or is my box out of date? Raised prices $10 in the last 6 months AND removed services? No wonder so many people are cutting the cord.

This is not what I was describing. I don't pay for the extra HD channels and do not have an HD receiver. Local broadcast channels have always been available in HD if you have the ability to connect from you set top box via HDMI to the TV. This just stopped about 3 weeks ago.

Technically, you are not supposed to get HD unless you pay the HD Tech fee (or a package with it included.) They have probably updated their provisioning.

If you live near a metro. area, get an amplified antenna. I get over 40 over the air channels. All three on my tv's (32", 40", and 65") can use the antenna. Easier to find local channels. Good backup when problems with a cable-box.

I am having the exact same problem on my TiVo Roamio Pro. I am getting a good signal 96-98% with a SNR of 38-39db. But the signal is being corrected like crazy. These are only the ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX local channels. The rest is fine.
I called support and after the usual restart messing around and "sending a signal to the box", the problem exists and a tech appt was scheduled for 2 months out. Ugh!!
Something changed about 10 days ago since my TiVos and cables have not been touched for over a year when a tech came out and fixed then.
