Constant buffering of Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime

This has been a pr[blem since last season (2022).  It continues through the first twow games of this season (2023).  Any chance this problem will ever be fixed?  Or is there another service where I can watch the games without the frustration of constant buffering and periodic lockups?

And no, I do not consider it to be my resposibility to contact Amazon Prime.   I pay Xfinity for the service and expect them to coordinate with Xfinity and resolve the issue.

Hello, thank you for using our community for assistance with your issue @David623. To confirm, your issue is with the Amazon Prime Video app, correct? Is this happening on Xfinity equipment, like a TV or stream box or on your own personal equipment like a computer or Smart TV? While we can assist with some basic troubleshooting, if an issue is only happening with one specific app that is not one of ours, you would need to connect with Amazon direct for support with their app as we won't have access to tools or resources to assist with a 3rd party app issue. If the issue is with an app on our equipment, we can assist with some troubleshooting however!

The problem exists while watching Prime Video via Xfinity equipment.  The problem does not exist if I watch via the Prime Video app on the TV.

Also, the picture quality is much superior using when using the Prime Video app on the TV.

@David623. I would recommend doing a hard reset on the cable box by unplugging the power cable from the cable box for 30 second then plugging back in, I also would do a hard reset on the modem with the same procedure

@David623​ I just thought I would add that's there solution for everything do hard resets and then call us in the morning kind of deal. Nothing ever really gets resolved and they're software that they use for their television is absolutely horrendous. I find it so expensive I want to just get rid of it but what do you do ???
