Having a problem receiving email from my brother

Hello Comcast,
For the past few months, I am not receiving emails from my brother. When I do receive the emails, they are received ~48 hours after sent. Can you help me resolve this issue? Below is the error message my brother receives.
Thank you,

Hey there, @user_ofdrst, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your email concerns. I can understand how frustrating it would be to not receive emails, especially from your brother. I know I rely on my email for communication.

When your brother sends an email, and it doesn't arrive, does he receive the same error message every time? Also, what email provider is your brother sending from (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, a custom domain, etc.), and have you checked your Spam/Junk folder, email filters, blocked sender list, and forwarding settings to see if those emails are being redirected or filtered?

Hello Jeniece,
Thank you for responding. My brother is a Gmail used and he does get this same error message each time he sends me an email. I have checked the spam folder. His emails don't route there. They arrive in my inbox but for unknown reasons, delayed by 48 hours.

Thank you,

Thanks for sharing those details. Since your brother's emails are arriving in your inbox, even though they are delayed, this suggests the messages are being accepted and delivered rather than being permanently blocked or routed to spam. The error message your brother receives when sending, combined with the approximately 48-hour delay, could indicate a delivery issue occurring somewhere between the sending and receiving mail systems.

To help investigate further, could you please provide the exact error message or bounce-back notification your brother receives when sending an email to you? It would also be helpful to know whether all of his emails are delayed or only certain messages. With that information, we can take a closer look and determine the next steps
