COMCAST E-MAIL SERVER DOWN - ALL 2024 AND HALF OF 2023 EMAILS DISAPPEARED
When I looked at my phone this morning it showed 20+ emails. A half hour later when I went to read my e-mail - they were all gone. I checked several other folders and ALL EMAILS FROM 2024 PLUS EMAILS GOING BACK TO JUNE of 2023 are GONE!!!! I looked online and the Comcast e-mail server is down but I don't understand why it would take half of my already read (and stored in folders) emails. Something similar happened several years ago and it took MANY phone calls and a couple of weeks to get some of my folders back - not even all. I hesitate to even call Comcast since I don't think the regular support people will have any idea what to do. I'm hoping a Comcast person reads this and can connect me with someone who can help me get my emails back. Many of them are extremely important and need to be kept. I thank anyone who can offer any help

All,
This morning’s issue affecting customers’ ability to send/receive their Xfinity email has been addressed. You should now be able to use your service as you would normally, including seeing any missing emails. If you continue to experience these issues, please let us know.

All,
Please completely log out of your email system, clear your full browser cache/cookies/history, and log back in. Please let us know if this does not fix the issue.

Mine are missing since 12/13/23. I was on a live chat with an xfinity rep and they said they're aware of it, it's a server issue and it's being "worked on".

Mine go from 12/24/23 to 10:15 am this morning. All my saved folders are empty.

Same problem here. I work remotely so this is a huge issue. All my emails are gone as of this morning. Instead of working I'm on hold with customer support. They said it's a regional problem in the NE but I live in Florida. She said check tomorrow. Is Comcast going to reimburse me for lost wages today?

Thank you all for at least letting me know that we are all having the same problem. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that Comcast fingers out how to fix it and restore our lost emails

I am still hoping that a higher level Comcast support person will see this thread and let us know if our emails are going to be restored and when.

They say it has been restored, however, I am still missing everything between 12/24/23 and 10:15am this morning.

Thank goodness all of my new emails just loaded. All of the ones who that had disappeared have miraculously reappeared.
thank you Comcast engineers for fixing this serious problem pretty quickly. And thanks everyone for joining my thread. And thanks Xfinity Jessie for letting us all know what happened
