Promotion not honored
I had called xfinity to cancel internet service to go to another carrier that was less expensive for better service. The lady i had talked to did not want me to transfer as I have been a loyal customer for years. The lady had offered me deals that still were not comparable to the other carrier. I kept declining and stating I was else where. They then offered me to transfer my m9blie devices and they would pay the contracted I owed the offer was 500 per line to pay for transfiguration the line breaking contract, 103 dollar internet with 60 dollars off with having 2 moblie devices with them, and 20 dollars per line. I declined due to owing 500 on one device and 1000 on the other (just got it Jan 3rd.) She kept pushing and I declined because I do not have the extra 500 it wouldn't cover. She then offered 1500 pre paid card to go towards what I owe on the phones to transfer them to xfinity. Of course I said yes. I confirmed multiple times that 500 was going towards one phone and 1000 to the other. Because if not then I am not doing it, she had reassured me that it was 1500 to cover what is owed. I transfered one device the one that had a balance of 500, once it was transferred I was disconnected. I had tried to transfer the other but the number was locked because I had just gotten it. I had called and explained that. They understood, they had mentioned the only 500 per line and I stated what my promotion that was given and the other lady had understood. They were trying to extend the deal blah blah she then was trying to get me to do the application for the pre paid card to pay off the 1000 phone. The link was not working. I had called another day and this lady was admitted that that 1500 deal is not a deal nor a promotion that it is only 500, per line. I had asked to speak to a supervisor, because that is not what I was offered and would not have gone through all of this if that was the case. I had talked to suppivsor Adam wh9m was extremely kind and understanding. He assured me they were going to make it right, they have to honor what they say, he said there is a process and he had to go to his bosses and they have to go back to listen to the calls to see if that was offered. He promised to call me within 7 days (Feb 4th). I had realized after the call that I could not wait 7 days, because I only had 30 days to return this phone with no fees and ties to it. By the 1st no call I went to plan B order a phone through xfinity and return the other phone back to the carrier with no ties nothing owed on it. As well as I don't need that promotion for 1000 dollars just 500 that is owed on the one that is transfered already. Today I received 3 missed calls from xfinity, I call back, and I spoke to someone repeated my story for at least the 10th time (I've been on the phones with them on and off for 10 days.) Again they say that is not an offer, which I understand, I've been told that plenty. But i was offered that. I asked to speak to another supervisor, he said it was going to be an hour to receive a call from a supervisor my time that wpuld.be at 9pm. I told them to call me at 8am. At 8:22pm i get a call from the supervisor and he was by far the rudest person I've talked to yet and I've talked to at least 10 of them. He said 500 is not an offer again I know. He then changed everything, I can't get the 500 noe it is actually only 200. So ot went from an offer of 1500 to 200. I told them the least they can do is 500 from all this I've g9ne through and pulling the fake promotion they came up with. He offered to only do the 200 or send back the xfinity phone I won't pay or owe anything. So I would have to go through switching yet again, but still in a a hole, I now owe 500 on my phone I dont have because I was promised to pay off my devices and now he wants to offer to cancel it all, and the number to the pre paid card from xfinity. Which they were not open so I got no where. I am waiting to see if I get another call from Adam tomorrow, or call again to put in a complaint. If I do not get any where I will be taking then to court. They offer hou stuff that isn't an offer, they make up offers and deals promise it and don't do it. You can never talk to the same person, every person says something different, it is never the same. I feel as if they scamming people. This is ridiculous that this is happening and not being solved. So I will take it else where.
I've also had to call because my bill was wrong. I only have 2 mobile devices. On my bill I was getting charged for 3 activation fees and my internet has yet to be discounted.
