NOW Mobile service

Hello, I recently changed from Xfinity Internet, broadcast, home phone, and cell service.  I read about a new Xfinity service named NOW.  I canceled my Xfinity services with and effective date and joined NOW Internet 200 service at $45/mo.  I love it !

My issue is how do I get NOW Cell service?  I want to move my line from Xfinity to NOW.  My store tells me that can't service me, the self service is all on-line, go there for help.  The Xfinity app blows up whenever I get into NOW cellular, the message says 'Failed to load' my services.

Last week I spent hours chasing down for assistant chatting with L1 and L2 support staffs.  Every opening chat states Hello, I'm expert and will get to your problem, and apologize for the problem.  Then they go away and the chat ends.  Someone different comes back and states he has to re-read what the other person went to do, and the cycle goes on and on like this.

I believe I saw that NOW has a promotion to buy a new phone and bring over your old number and get some cash.  As well, they offer to buy back my old phone and get cash.  How can I break these obstacles and move to NOW Mobile?

How long have you had your current Xfinity Mobile services? You will need to have had your Xfinity Mobile account for at least 60 days in order to downgrade to NOW Mobile.

Hello, we're on the Xfinity family shared 3GB plan with 2 lines. Xfinity Mobile Account # [Edited: "Personal Information"].   I've been over 2 yrs and phone paid off.  My wife has 7 months remaining payments on her phone, so she would not be eligible.  LOL - I didn't consider moving to NOW a downgrade?  Was this just a poor choice of words?  My line is ending 8183 and I would just like to move that number over to NOW Mobile.  It might be easiest to get a free Samsung phone in the process of moving my line.

To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary

 • Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging 

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

 • Press Enter to send it

guys, do not accept NOW mobile services. I know the deal sounds sweet but when you run into problems, there's no customer service line, only a chat via the app and in the chat itself, the agents respond whenever they feel like it. Been on the chat for like 9 hours on a Saturday. One agent exited chat as soon as he saw it was still me lol. Frustration since day 1 of getting persuaded into NOW mobile while on the phone with xfinity for a different issue. Didn't know i was making the greatest mistake and now I seem stuck with it. I currently cannot make or receive calls and texts because my line is on "pause" and there's no way to pay for it via app. everything seems locked and redundant. chat agents offer zero help. i went in the store at least they tried but still my issue wasn't resolved yet the store has "NOW" items on display. why sell something which you don't have the expertise for and the only help is some bot via a chat app? Cheap isn't always cheap. You get what you pay for. I have lost so much time and money chasing to get this issue resolved and now I might be forced to get a new number with a new carrier.. something I did not want.
