user_1fsbjx Thanks for reaching out! If you are in the Atlanta area, we do have a service interruption ticket submitted for this issue. The audio concern appears to be with WGTA the local affiliate that broadcasts H&I, and MeTV in your area. They do have a pop-up banner announcement on their web page that references the sound concern. https://wgtatv.com/

@user_1fsbjx I called yesterday and they gave me a $32 credit for 8-1 thru 8-5 outage. He said to call back when the issue was resolved to receive additional credit.
@user_1fsbjx No audio anywhere in the Atlanta metro area apparently. All platforms are affected. Cable, satellite, streaming, etc. Hard to believe it would take so long to fix though. Has to be an issue at the source.
well... I tried my hand at getting some type of credit (just for the principle) and got such a run around, I just gave up. Kudos to those that were successful
@user_3ocyp1 That's just it.... that want you to give up. You have to get to a live body to get the credit. Forget trying to use that worthless "Xfinity Assistant". :-)

I got a credit of $11.67. You must first ask for help getting a credit here in a post. Then you can send a direct message following the instructions that Xfinity Amira stated above. Copy a link for this page and post it in your Message to Xfinity Support. If you do that, you will get quick service.
H and I No sound, since last Friday... Reset, re-synced and rebooted all, tried all settings.... 3 Days and no sound? Called the help line, put me through 2 hourts of HELL rebooting, resyncing, and trying to sell me more....

@user_clvusq You can switch to spanish SAP channel and receive audio. But if you have your DVR scheduled to record MeTV content your recording still won't have any audio.

@XfinityMarcus I urge you to get this audio problem fixed. MeTV and H&I are the ONLY two reasons I have Xfinity cable. I don't care who caused the problem, get it fixed, and i won't cancel Xfinity.
As you mentioned in other comment, we are waiting for the network to resolve the issue. We do not have hands on access to resolve the issue and are awaiting any updates they can provide.

@user_ymnpdd The audio has been out on MeTV, StoryTV and H&I since Friday, August 2. A lower-third banner saying there are technical difficulties would help tremendously. Or, better yet, get it fixed. Are you waiting on a part from China? What is the hold up?

I find it interesting that both MeTV and H&I are working as normal in the Atlanta GA area on different cable and satellite systems. Could we see a blackout of these two channels unless they agree to pay ransom to xFinity, just like Bally Sports South?
We have been without sound on METV for over a week. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
I expect credits to be issued for the multiple channels I understand are having problems. Furthermore, I understand that the channels themselves are fine and that it is Xfinity who is having the issue; therefore, it is Xfinity's issue to correct and / or credit subscribers.

@user_2nmyus Exactly. We been w/o sound from these two channels since early Saturday morning 8/3/24. I tried calling Comcast again & couldn’t get through to an agent. We all needs credits for our inconveniences!!
@XfinityMartyR We don't want to hear that it's somebody else's problem. We buy cable TV from Xfinity not YOUR source. So Xfinity needs to own this issue! And if Xfinity had any brains they'd be getting MeTV and H&I content directly from Weigel broadcasting via fiber instead of relying on some small time 3rd party local provider.
