Leaderboard Employees’ Credentials

Good morning:

I believe professional employees of xfinity on the Leaderboard acting as final arbitrators and official mouthpiece of the company must declare their full name, titles and credentials for us (the captive audience) to be able to judge the merits of feedbacks provided.
That’s expected from any organization; period.

Respectfully,

Zack in San Francisco (Registered Professional Civil Engineer)

@zackSF

Thank you for posting your forum feedback. While we appreciate your sentiment. I will share that we do have guidelines in place throughout our forum that protects all manners of personal information, including that of our official employees. Like our customers, all employees in this space are required to adhere to all Xfinity Forum Guidelines and Xfinity Forum Acceptable Use Policies, which includes refraining from using anyone's identifiable information. We ask that you please review those guidelines thoroughly as they can provide you additional insight as to how our forum operates and by having a profile in this space, you have already agreed to adhere to all posted policies shared in those guidelines as well as any other posted policies posted throughout the site.

I will remind you that even when speaking with phone or chat representatives, they are never required to divulge their last name to you, as they have individual employee ID's that can be provided to customers any time they ask to identify themselves; the same goes for the employees that work in this forum. I can tell you that the majority (about 90%) of all employee responses here in our forum are authored by our Digital Care Team. They are the only team responsible for actually working the forums and helping customers here. Minus my role and the role of our Moderator, all other Official Employees in this space are volunteering their time to help customers in this space (as they are not getting paid to do that work). If there is ever a specific employee that you have feedback about or would like to know more about, you are welcome to reach out to me directly for that information. We will continue to protect all our employees and customers in this forum space by not sharing their personal identifiable information and adhering to all our posted policies.

I hope this help. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

@XfinityJessie thank you for your comprehensive response to my question/inquiry. I am not interested in any personal information about anyone including employees of xfinity. However, I am interested to know the degree of involvement of any respondent on this forum. The forum can be useful only when we are informed of the extent and validity of responses/solutions. Personally, I am not interested in opinions but rather verifiable facts which has been the reson for my writing.
my purpose is to locate and implement solutions provided by xfinity and reflect the current standards and addressing my paid services as efficiently as possible. My quest involved two keywords Dolby and xfinity stream and I failed to locate any information because my search never returned my intended targeted information; thus my inquiry about the providers on this forum. Organization of sources based on knowledge about he expertise of the providers was my vision of a useful and productive library of resources.
Finally, I find myself seeking information about my paid services much more than anticipated due to persistent problems with  your services, answer wizards that don’t help, chat support that is painfully slow, phone support that is inaccessible and these forums with most questions are either unanswered or closed (that is if my keyword search lands on any intended topic).
thank you for your response and I urge you to reconsider the privacy reasoning of personal identification and I suggest that an employee’s department association is assuring and satisfies referential requirements. I find using privacy protection arguments have no legitimate place in a professional organization employing professionals to help paying clients.
Truly, Zack

The concern is not "Community Center / Guidelines" related. Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@zackSF :

 That information is never given out by any company on the Internet. However, using the leaderboard can help finding people with the most kudos and solved posts. This true for employees, experts, and normal people like you the help out on the forum.

I should have added the employees making a final decision are likely not on the forum.
