Xfinity charging for INSP
I just received an email from INSP that Xfinity is going to charge $10 for INSP even though INSP doesn’t charge Xfinity for their programming. I don’t want that to happen. Why would Xfinity do that?

All of a sudden with no notice the TV reboots and now one of my channels INSP isn't there and wants a subscription..
Xfinity is about to lose me as a customer.. I paid for this specific channel lineup and have had it for years.. now all of a sudden they want to charge more.. with an already outrageous bill you will not get another dime and may lose me all together!!
You have become a greedy monopoly on television but with all the streaming available you ate just not that needed anymore.. y by to tv, phone and soon internet..possibly good ye to Xfinity when they lose enough customers

Why would you start charging for something that has been get for years. This definitely a deal breaker for. I will be cancelling Xfinity cable.

I too am VERY angry about this. Clean wholesome programs on INSP. Unbelievable!!! I guess they need $10 more a month. I’m also sure the monthly bill won’t go down by $10

Unfortunately, this is not the first time xfinity pulled this fast one! A couple of years back they moved TCM to this same sports package. I wasn't gonna pony up for another 9.95
just to see that channel, even though I watched it alot! Fast forward to tonite when I turned on Cheyanne and there was the same box again - time to pay up! After finally getting thru to a live agent (not easy) she virtually read the same statement appearing online in several of these forums. After my complaint, all she kept saying was "let me add the new package to your account.".... I finally had to hang up! Something very wrong here - what's the common denominator is its old programming - vintage movies and vintage westerns.
So they must think us seniors are willing to pay extra for what we signed up for years ago! Pretty sad , I'm paying 230 bucks a month and still not enough! I have directv at my house, but I've been taking care of my mom here at her house for the last few years. Not gonna be getting rid of directv at my place! Well, i could get two of my shows back for a mere 9.95 .....NOT!

I was on the phone all day with XFinity. I called to find out why INSP channel said I needed a subscription all of a sudden and they totally whacked my whole account up! They changed my total package twice and I finally told them just to change it back to my old plan which they said they couldn’t do - they tried to get it as close as possible- but I don’t understand why they couldn’t void the order and give me what I had before. So now my Netflix isn’t working, Paramount isn’t working and I still don’t have INSP but I don’t care anymore about INSP; and now I pay more. Oh but they credited me $50 for taking up my whole day. Now I have to call them back tomorrow and tell them their changes didn’t work. Omg 😩

Been a customer around 20 years paying $225 month. We are terminating in a few days. Goodbye Comcast. Our contract included INSP.

Let me get this right. Xfinity/Comcast doesn't pay for INSP but are moving it to a package where it has to be paid for. At the same time, if we do not take the package, they will reduce our bills by the amount they pay for INSP - $zero, zilch, nada, nothing.
They tells to say "Westerns" and we will get similar programming. "Similar" is not the same as "the same". How about moving one of the " Wesrern" channels instead.
I was paying for a cable package that included INSP. I would like INSP to be in the package I have without being forced to pay for it

I also am very unhappy with this change. I will be reviewing the channels included in my service as this was one of the channels that caused me to get the level I have now. I guess I will be rolling back to a smaller package.

Cowboy Code No. 1: Look out for your own. To all our fans who watch INSP - your home for Westerns - through Xfinity, this message is for you! Xfinity has moved INSP to a higher-priced package, which means you will have to upgrade and pay an extra $10 every month to keep one of your favorite channels!
