Xfinity and CBS all access
I have Prime Video on my TV and already have some additional channels. Today I added CBS All Access. I cannot see all the shows. Some come up as restricted on this device...but I can watch on other devices. Any ideas onhow to correct this and remove the restriction?

Xfinity does not include CBS All Access, but if you want to watch it, you would need to get a ROKU or some other device and hook it to your tv to watch. Xfinity does allow 3rd party streaming as indicated by them having Netflix. It would be nice to see CBS All Access too. I have a feeling Xfinity will have the new Disney streaming service when it becomes available, therefore they should have CBS All Access too.

rns1016, thanks for your feedback about supporting CBS all access. At this time CBS All Access is not available with Comcast. We constantly working to provide our customers with the content they want at a fair price. I'll send your feedback to my leadership! If there are any updates to this we will be sure to update this post.

If you have the X1 platform and an Amazon Prime account, you can access All Access through the Amazon Prime App(with a subscription)

Andrew,
What about those of us without Amazon Prime? I do not want to pay for Amazon and CBS All access on top of that, which is what Amazon Prime does. The only workaround is ROKU.

Unfortunately, I can only comment on what’s presently an option for you. The X1 platform added a huge amount of apps in the last year or so, but it takes 2 companies to come to an agreement. Never say never

I appreciate your responses! However, it would be nice if you did not have to buy one service in order to buy another. CBS All Access has its own app and if I had a smart TV, I would use this. No way will I pay Amazon for a service I do not want or need.

Was reading up on this topic and found this old thread. As to the point it is a streaming service like Hulu I would add Netflix is a streaming service and available as an app, my only conclusion is there must be some type of agreement in place or the lack of one.

How do you know if you have X1 Infinity Comcast service and if you do how would access Amazon Prime to get to CBS all access (then cancel).

ViacomCBS and Comcast have made an agreement that will make the CBS All Access app available on the X1 platform. Just like Netflix/Amazon/etc..., it will require it's own subscription.
