When are the Showtime subscribers finally going to be able to log into the Paramount+ to access what we pay for?

I was told, by an Xfinity rep a couple of months ago, that Showtime subscribers would be able to log into the Paramount+ app, using their TV provider, to access their Showtime programming just like HBO subscribers are able to when it switched to the MAX app. It is now 2024, after P+ said that would be available, and there is still no way to access all of the Showtime programs and movies. The Xfinity Stream app, has some, but not everything (including what I want to watch right now). I pay for Showtime, so I want to be able to watch what I pay for. Xfinity needs to put pressure on P+ to finishing setting up the ability to login with a TV provider. There are even help pages on P+'s website that explain how to do it, but the instructions do don't correlate to what is actually on the P+ website, which is only to sign up for a P+ plan. This is ridiculous.

Hey @sbwinter2,

Thank you for contacting customer support through Xfinity Support. I hope you are doing well. I would be more than happy to offer my assistance with the Showtime subscription. I do apologize, but we do not have any word if you will be able to use your Showtime subscription within the Paramount+ application at this time. We do not have any information to share currently. If you would like to access Showtime content, most content should be easily found within the Xfinity Stream web portal and Xfinity Stream application. I apologize that we do not have any additional information to share.

@XfinityDemitrius

Well, you must not be in the same loop the other rep is in since she looked it up and told me that we were supposed to be able to log in to the P+ app. Like I said, unfortunately, the Stream app does not carry all movies and shows the Showtime app did. So, if that is supposed to be an option, Xfinity needs to make sure all of the content is there. I am tired of paying for something and not getting it. Same thing happened with Starz for years, and some other premium channels. I am really trying to stick with subscriptions through Xfinity, so I can watch the live channels, but Xfinity really makes it a challenge.

@sbwinter2 The content is given to us by the provider such as in this case Paramount+/Showtime. We are not a supported partner with Showtime meaning you cannot use Xfinity log in for that app as you do with MAX. Anything they choose to do with their app, content, and how one would log in would come from Paramount+/Showtime. At this time I would recommend reaching out to Paramount+/Showtime for any concerns you have with being able to watch their content. We can only offer what has been given to Xfinity. You will be able to watch what is available though the stream app on live channels since you are a subscriber. Anything outside that would need to go through the network.

@XfinityJanelle You need to become a supported partner like I was told you would be. I am paying for programming I cannot access now. I don't really want to cancel my subscription with Xfinity, so you should resolve this so customers get what they pay for.

I also would like to know why DirectTV and AT&T Uverse  customers can convert their Showtime subscriptions

on the Paramount website , but Xfinity customers can't?
