upcoming pbs series for "the american revolution" episode 5 is missing -- 6 episodes total

Hi there, @lmack! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum. It looks like the information for that episode was not yet provided to us on the guide. It should appear at some point. I would recommend making sure the program is set to a series recording, and you should be able to get it recorded.
