Hi there, @hendritr58! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum! We have no current information on Twins.tv. Are you referring to an app on X1? We do offer MLB Extra innings which includes Twins games.
You need to investigate a little further. When Twins.tv launches this spring all cable and satellite services are supposed to have a channel. I want to know what Xfinity is offering? Do I subscribe to Twins.tv and automatically get a channel to watch? Or do I subscribe thru Xfinity? Please understand what you’re talking about.
Gotcha! At this time we do not have any further details to provide regarding the subscription to this channel. Once these are made available you will be notified and general information will be available for the public to review.

@user_mzj5th Thanks for reaching out for an update. As of today I am not seeing any information on Twins TV. This information could change in the future. I have a link to share with some information on how you can stream and watch the MLB network https://www.xfinity.com/hub/tv-video/baseball. Do you have any others concerns we can assist with?

I saw that Derek Falvey said over the weekend that twins tv will be on all cable or tv platforms by the time the season starts, but that the details are still being worked out. I would certainly hope that means that those of us who already pay for the tier that includes the sports channels will get it on that package, but who knows! It does baffle me that Comcast themselves seem to have no knowledge of the subject!!
user_9viq9j Hello and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums. I completely understand your enthusiasm and, frankly, a bit of the uncertainty surrounding the Twins TV situation. It's certainly encouraging to hear they're aiming for broader distribution by the season's start. As a fellow fan, I know how important it is to catch those games. Once Xfinity has an update it will be sharred. We're committed to ensuring you can enjoy the games, and we're dedicated to obtaining all the necessary information. Thank you for your patience and for your passionate support of the Twins!

I have given up on Xfinity knowing what they will do. Typical horrible customer service. I just started an account with MLB. If you create an account you can watch spring training games free. I liked what I saw. I assume TwinsTv will be more than the $20 monthly fee that what xfinity will charge all 12 months. No longer waiting for xfiniyy to s*** or get off the pot. MLB is what I have wanted for years to watch my team not any other team except my team. GO TWINS!!
Hi Wej19, I'd love to help keep you right here in our community. Would you like to look at some promotional options with me to see if we can get your rate back in line?

@Mnkayaker - Xfinity almost never mentions its MLB Extra Innings plans until just before Opening Day.
Update: somebody else on another thread was told that Extra Innings would be available on March 27, although that's Opening Day, and you would think it would be made available before then.
Mnkayaker, that is a great question. I am a huge baseball fan, so I can't wait to get the MLB Extra Innings. It will be available starting March 20th. The season itself begins March 27th. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Would like to know specifically about Comcast’s plan to televise MN Twins games on Twins.TV. Will they be available to auto image tier subscribers at no extra cost?
Xfinity is running out of time, and they still have provided no updates regarding Twins.TV. I don't want to order it until I know if it will have an assigned channel on my Xfinity platform. I'd rather not have it only as a separate app. I'd like to have the ability to channel surf, record with DVR, and get fast forward & rewind capability like other Xfinity channels
@user_4ipm3h - apparently Xfinity should have information, one way or the other, on March 20. I am assuming that twins.tv will be a Twins-only "channel" of MLB Extra Innings.
If it comes down to it, what stops you from ordering the Twins.tv online app on Opening Day? The Twins' first game is 3/27 at St. Louis, with a start time of 3:15 Central. It won't be an ESPN exclusive, as ESPN is airing Brewers-Yankees that afternoon.
@ThatDonGuy Thanks, good info. It's frustrating that you, as a customer, have so much more info than Xfinity is willing to share. Perhaps you're with the Twins? (The Twins haven't responded to my online questions, either.)
@user_4ipm3h - who, me? No - I live out west - but Xfinity (and, I have a feeling, quite a few other cable companies) has been going through this sort of thing for years.
@user_4ipm3h I have the MLB app. I can channel surf by switching from the app to Xfinity. When I return to the app it is where I left off, same pitch count, then I can fast forward between innings until I catch up to live. Same with missing a day game I can view and ff between innings making it a 2 hour or less game. I love the MLB app and I don't have to pay Xfinity for 12 months of their channel. I don't think they will credit you after the season when they don't play anymore.
Bump. We are all waiting for an answer to if there will be a Twins.TV app directly on the Xfinity platform. We are all going to miss out on the 50% ticket sales if we don't purchase this month. Please let us know.
user_bh9g9e At this time, I'm not finding any information to suggest we would be adding the app to our X1 platform for access.

Ahh, watching TwinsTV on the MLB app. No longer captive of Xfinity having to pay $20-$30 for 12 months to watch 6 months of baseball. $99 for a season of Twins baseball is what I wanted all along. According to the Strib the Twins are in negotiations with Xfinity about TwinsTV and Xfinity probably won't make a decision until opening day where it will be on a channel or the cost as it will definitely be a 12 month cost. Stick it Xfinity. GO TWINS ON TWINSTV ON THE MLB APP.
@user_mzj5th Signed up in February when previous contract with Xfinity was to expire for Ultimate TV Upgrade with 50+ Additional Channels as was we told would be able to watch live Twins games on MLB channel at NO EXTRA COST if we did so. Called on 3/20 and still are saying that but who knows if correct and when.
Wait till opening day to find out. Drop ultimate package to a lower less expensive package and get the TwinsTV MLB app for $20 month or $99 for the season.
Supposedly xfinity and the twins have come to an agreement. I've been trying to find information on this for hours, both from xfinity and mlb. No one can tell me anything. Can someone pleasegive us the details regarding this "agreement"?
Yeah I see it’s supposedly available on channel 1261 which does not exist in my Xfinity stream app. Would sure be nice if they could make these things clear to those of us already paying ridiculous amounts of money to Xfinity every month.
In a press release on Thursday, the Minnesota Twins announced the 2025 regular season broadcast schedule for Twins.TV, noting people in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and western Wisconsin can watch all locally-distributed Twins regular season games in 2025 with no blackouts.
Fans can watch games on cable and satellite, as well as streaming on the following channels;
Xfinity/Comcast (Ch. 1261)
I just checked this channel on my cable box and it shows the TC placeholder, guide has pregame starting at 2:30. I currently subscribe to the TV Ultimate package.
I don't think it's available without the ultimate plan. I have the popular plan, and channel 1261 says "subscription required". I talked to someone with Xfinity this morning and they knew nothing about it.
I've also read that you may still need to buy the Twins.TV subscription, which is $20 per month or $99 for the whole season in addition to having Ultimate tier. This is just crazy
@user_mzj5th As of today Twins are on channel #1261 without additional cost with my Xfinity TV Ultimate upgrade with 50+ additional channels package Watching now,
TwinsTv is on the MLB app. You can pay $19.99 monthly or $99 for the year. You do not have to pay Xfinity for the Ultimate level added cost from the Popular level for 12 months when the Twins only play for 6 months and the playoffs are on regular cable channels. You have saved 6 months by not upping your Xfinity to a higher. The MLB app also allows you to watch a day game later and advance between innings thus making a game last less than 2 hours. MLB app works on any device no need for a second cable box or the Xfinity app. You should also be able to use it away from you viewing area unlike Xfinity. Get the MLB app and then most of us can downgrade our service and not be captive to Xfinity for TV service. GO TWINS ON MLB APP. Finally, we do not need to be held to Xfinity for TwinsTv.
Watching on Xfinity is better than on the app. You can record games to DVR and watch them any time, unless you delete them. Also, the Xfinity platform has much better fast forward/ pause/ rewind capability. You can also easily channel surf and watch other programs between innings or other breaks in the game.
But if you surf on Xfinity and miss at bats or inning you miss it all. The app allows you to continue on from where you left off, same pitch count, same batter and you can then fast forward until you reach live action again.

I too want to know how xfinity will handle Twins TV. It's pretty late for them not to know how it is going be handled. Typical!
