Favorite channels disappeared
As of last night, I lost all my favorite channels on my Xfinity cable box for my TV. My favorite channels still appear on my Xfinity stream on my iPhone and Roku, but they're all gone in my Xfinity cable box. I've tried doing a restart. I've also rebooted my modem. Nothing helps. Please fix that issue or tell me why this is happening. Thank you.

That happened to me yesterday I was watching my favorite channels I went somewhere when I came home and hit the guide button it came up completely blank and told me how to add channels to my favorites list. There's some of them I can't find though like there was one there I can't remember what the channel was but it showed Christmas movies 24 hours a day and it's not Hallmark or lifetime movie Network all he showed was movies and they were Christmas movies and it was a regular Xfinity channel

Yeah well that's pretty telling right there that they won't respond. I tried all the things that were suggested online I went on my phone I removed something from my favorites then we added it and it didn't bring back any of the channels on my favorite list I've been building it back up but I'm still missing channels and it seems like there's some channels Comcast just removed.

Are you still seeing an issue with the favorites or have they returned. It does appear there was an issue that has since been resolved.

I guess you farmed out your technical support to India and you want the customers to figure out the answer. I deleted my question about this because of the [Edited - inflammitory] answers I was getting from people who took two seconds read the question and then started with trouble shooting [Edited - Language]. Fix your connections issues also. It's trash in Houston. You know it and you won't spend the money to fix it. It could rain 10 miles from me and I lose connection and it's not just me.

Never fear, this is just a common feature that usually happens only once in a blue moon! But this week it happened twice to me.
First time, a few days ago, the favs list was completely gone. I re-added all my favs, except for 2 channels I no longer wanted there. The next day, those 2 channels reappeared in the list. So apparently they fixed the problem and restored the whole previous list.
Second time, today, just the first half or so of the favs list disappeared. I re-added the same ones because I'd rather not wait.
