ESPN Unlimited - Unable to Activate

During the past few weeks I've attempted to activate the new ESPN Unlimited offer by Xfinity. I've tried different browsers (Chrome and Edge). Nothing works. No activation. Looking for a Mods assistance please.

Thanks for your time!

I can't get it to activate either. Little or no help from Xfinity or Disney. This happens every time Xfinity "offers any new things, it doesn't work.

@BrotherHawk Thanks for reaching out to our team for help. Can you tell us more about what happens when you try to activate?

How are you activating this an offer; Through the Xfinity rewards site or an your email?

Thank for your reply. After days of trying different methods. I was finally able to activate the offer via the xfinity app.

I have the same problem.  I have received several emails over the past month telling me I need to activate espn unlimited.  When I click on the provided icon I either get "something went wrong we are sorry please try again later"  or, more recently an espn logo with an hour glass within it which does nothing.   I have had at least three (very long) sessions with a live agent and despite being sent links which do not help and being told to try again in 24 hours I still have the problem.  Can you please explain how to rectify once and for all. Thanks.

user_lsaz7f Where in the following steps do you receive an error?

Steps to Activate:

  1. Navigate to Xfinity Subscription Hub (http://Xfinity.com/yoursubscriptions
  2. Click Activate next to or under the ESPN logo
  3. A popup will appear, alerting you that you are leaving the Xfinity website to activate ESPN Unlimited
  4. Click Activate ESPN Unlimited
  5. You will be directed to the ESPN activation flow on ESPN.com
  6. Click Agree & Activate
  7. You will be prompted to enter an email address and password
  8. Visit the ESPN app to start streaming

This 8 step activation plan did not work last Saturday or today-Monday. Usually does not work past step 1. Only once on Saturday  was I able to get to step 6 but  got a "sorry something went wrong message " when Activate button was pushed. Live person from Xfinity could not help on Saturday...suggested I try later and sent a useless connection email. That did not work today. Only reason I want ESPN Unlimited is because it Includes ESPN + which I want for football season. So unless Xfinity fixes this [Edited: "Profanity"] free offer, I'll just continue to buy ESPN+ in the fall. But stop sending "it is included with my plan emails" please.

Same issue here. When trying to activate a popup says, "

Something unexpected happened

Please close this pop up and try again. If the problem persists, try again later."

This has been going on for days now.

cajunflix Hello, thank you for reaching out and for sharing those details. I’m sorry you’ve been dealing with that error message for several days when you’re trying to activate an offer. There are a few things you can try to help resolve or work around this issue:

First, try basic browser troubleshooting

  • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies
  • Try a different browser such as Chrome, Edge, or Safari
  • Open a private or incognito window and attempt activation again

Next, try a different device

  • If you are using a phone, try a computer or tablet instead
  • Make sure your Xfinity account is fully signed in before clicking the activation link

You can also try accessing the offer directly from your account

  • Sign in at: https://www.xfinity.com
  • Go to Account > Services & Subscriptions
  • Look for the ESPN offer and attempt activation from there instead of the pop up

If the pop up error continues

  • Disable any pop up blockers or extensions temporarily
  • Make sure your browser is up to date

If you’re still seeing the same message after trying these steps, I’d be happy to take a closer look with you. We’re here to help every step of the way.
