Hello, @user_i82t3m. The Big 10 network is typically available as part of the More Sports & Entertainment Package in certain areas. I'd be more than happy to confirm if this channel has been added in HD. You're more than welcome to check yourself as by visiting this link https://www.xfinity.com/support/local-channel-lineup.
In order to get started, can you please send me a private message to Xfinity Support by clicking the chat icon in the top right?
I have the Big Ten Network in my current channel lineup but it’s not available in HD. Since four west coast colleges will be joining the Big Ten later this year, I’m wondering if the HD version of the channel will become available in my lineup.

Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. I apologize, but we do not have any information on any changes to the Big 10 Network. Any channel or network changes will be notified on your Xfinity billing statement on the addition, removal, or modification of any channels.

We had the pac 12 network as part of our regular package (not as an add on) and that network is no longer available due to its demise. The games that used to be on the PAC 12 network are now on the big 10 network. As the football season approaches, the question os are you going to be adding that we we can watch our local (now big 10 teams) or will it remain a premium, thus resulting in one less channel for the same price or an additional $11 per month for what was previously included in our $200 bill (Internet and tv). I look forward to receiving your answer.
I live in the Seattle area. With the Pac 12 Network going away at the end of June and with Huskies joining the Big Ten now, will the Big Ten Network be part of the Popular package like the Pac 12 Network was and not have to pay $10 more for the Sports and Entertainment package? Seems odd that I can’t seem to get any clear answers to this question.
@GRBU2 Any upcoming changes to the channel lineup and what is offered within it will be listed on your Xfinity monthly statement along with email communication about upcoming potential changes. I have not seen any internal postings about the PAC 12 and Big Ten teams changing up and how that will be broadcasted. I would assume because the agreement is so new, there are still moving pieces before there will be communication on how to access that content.

The agreement with the teams changing conferences happened almost a year ago. Seems like xfinity should already know what their plans are.
We used to get the Big 10 Network but was taken away as part of the package because our local teams weren’t in the conference- that was the reason given. Now the local team is in the conference, so to be consistent, the Big 20 Network should be added back in the package. In addition, the PAC 12 Network is going away and therefore not part of the package anymore. Seems simple enough.
Hi there @GRBU2 , It looks like the Pac 12 channel will be getting removed from our channel list starting June 30th 2024 due to all the teams going to new conferences.

GRBU2 That information is currently not available. It's currently available in the Sports & Entertainment package.

I have checked and it's not listed in either the 125 or 185 channel line up. Since Ducks and Huskies football are going to be on this channel, do we need to get YouTube TV (which has it) ?
@XfinityThomasA What we are asking in this thread is whether the Big Ten Network will be added to the regular channel line up to replace the Pac 12 Nerwork which left last month? Yes it is available for $10 a month, but if you have the top cable package you already get most of the channels in the sports tier so you are paying twice for them.
I also feel Xfinity is being disingenuous on this. PAC-12 Network no longer exists but you aren’t going to replace it straight across with the Big 10 Network on the Ultimate TV tier? It’s bad enough I had to upgrade earlier this year to keep ROOT. Seems like I’m paying more to get less. I won’t pay more—again—to add the Sports & Entertainment package if this is the only way to get the Big 10 Network. I’ll switch to Fubo instead.
Everyone asking this question ("Will the Big10 Network be added, without any extra fee, to channel line ups that used to include the now-removed Pac12 Network?") has already checked their own channel line up and noted that the Big10 Network is not included - hence our questions here, now. So, the answer to your question, above, is "YES". But our question, asked over and over on this thread, has still not been answered.
To Everyone: It's clear that the Xfinity/Comcast moderators here don't know the plans (or lack of any) regarding Xfinity/Comcast providing us with the Big10 Network as a replacement for the Pac12 Network. But it's equally clear, by now, that Xfinity/Comcast is not going to replace the Pac12 Network with the Big10 Network in the new Big10 markets on west coast. If you want to get the Big10 Network in west coast Big10 states (CA, OR, WA) you will have to pay the extra $9.99/month for the Sports and Entertainment package add-on. That is the answer to our questions that won't be said here by Xfinity/Comcast.
Oregon Washington have officially joined the Big Ten Conference now. Comcast you need to come through and put the Big 10 Network back on the regular package just like Pac-12 network was. What's the holdup?
Agree - this is ridiculous. Back when the Big Ten was still included the reason given it was removed was there was no local Big Ten team. Those areas with Big Ten teams kept the station in their package. Now the Big Ten is in the Seattle area and there is no news about whether it gets added back or not. This is another reason why Comcast/Xfinity gets poor customer service ratings. This conference transition has been known for a year and the Pac 12 Network was removed because it went away and all we hear are crickets from Xfinity. Not good.
We consider many options based on our customers' diverse interests and offer a wide variety of quality channels that everyone enjoys. Each channel is chosen based on factors like:
Contractual agreements with the programmer to carry a channel.
We have to pay for almost every channel we carry, including new networks that launch, so we're careful about adding channels that could increase customers’ bills due to the fees charged by the owners of the channels. We try to make agreements that give our customers the content they want at a price that is reasonable.

@GRBU2 I definitely understand wanting to get that line up. I'm happy to double check and see if it's offered at all in your area as part of our Sports and Entertainment package. Please send us a DM to Xfinity Support with your full name and address to get started.

Oh I know there are financial implications but I’m not sold it is with the best interest of the consumer - always in the best interest of Xfinity.
It is offered in my area if I pay $10 more. Didn’t have to pay for it originally but was taken away since Seattle wasn’t a Big Ten city - now it is. So when will it be added back? Can you answer me this as one example - is the Big Ten Network included in Popular plans in Columbus, Ohio area? If so, then why isn’t it included in Seattle area now with the University of Washington in the Big Ten now? Either include the Big Ten Network in the Popular plan for all Big Ten areas or none at all.

Comcast paid the PAC-12 Network for a contractual agreement to carry the network on its main tiers. Why isn’t Comcast now investing that savings into carrying the Big 10 Network on those same tiers? As a subscriber to the Ultimate+ (plus) package, I suggest Comcast rebrand it to the Ultimate- (minus) package, because that’s what I’m getting in return for MY consumer contract with Comcast. Also, why would I pay $10/month extra for the Sports & Entertainment Package when I’m already receiving (and paying for) the vast majority of those channels in my subscription to Ultimate+?
@user_8s65jw To access the Big 10 Network you'll need to add the More Sports and Entertainment pack to your account. If you need assistance with that process please DM us your first and last name along with your full-service address to get started.

So those of us who subscribe to the Ultimate+ package are getting a discount for no longer receiving the equivalent of the PAC-12 Network, since that was part of the original subscription we signed up for?
You know, just like you did when you pulled ROOT from lower-tier subscribers?

Please don’t make us pay an extra $10 per month for the big ten network is Washington State. This makes me want to cut the cord. The pac 12 network was included. The big 10 network should be too.

@user_02u2fn I just discovered this, and it Is a full [Edited: "Language"] to Comcast subscribers for P2 cities like ours. Less service for the same money which has already gone up recently, or keep the same amount of service and pay over $11 with tax. Then asked about it and looking for an explanation. All that is given is how to pay them extra money. One of the remaining few who have not cut the cord, but I can go over to YouTube TV and watch my games without it being an extra charge. Since the PAC 12 network no longer exists, is Comcast going to replace it with a Big Ten network for the same priced package?
