scam or real xfinity call?

I got a call in voice mail from a number saying my discount on my XFinity plan was about to expire if I didn't call back at this number: [Edited: "Personal Information"]. I'm highly suspicious (for one thing, when the last one was about to get a price increase, I had no such warning.) Is this a scam?  A reverse phone lookup shows that number doesn't exist.   But how can I know, when I can't find a REAL Xfinity number to call and ask someone?

They are still doing this scam.

Received call today with same message:

"Hello this voicemail is from Comcast Xfinity.  Your current 50% discount on your monthly bill will expire by the end of the day.  To maintain your reduced rate call the number on your caller ID immediately.  This is your final reminder.  To act call back now, thank you."

[Edited: Personal Information]

This is a very professional scam.  It includes a caller menu and call hold music with voice over describing Xfinity products while waiting for operator to pick up.

When someone finally picks up they are polished and have a call script that sounds like one your typical customer service rep would use.

Beware!!

Got one today also ... "This is Comcast/Xfinity. This is a courtesy reminder that your 50% discount on your monthly bill is being removed today.  To insure your account is updated correctly, call us now at the number shown on your caller ID."  I knew this was spam because of the words Comcast and 50% discount in the same sentence.

yes, they ask you the amount of your monthly bill.  They say that you don't have to worry.  Whatever, amount they told you, they cut it in half. (80 per month, they say new promotion of 40 per month... it's good for the next 3 years.... BUT you have to pay 1 year in advance... $40 x 12 months = $480.)  Pay in advance?  Huh!  that's what told me this was a scam for sure!

The guy was able to tell me the amount and date of my next bill. I am surprised how a scammer can get that info.

I wouldn’t accept any offer via phone call or chat line as their legal department just told me today that no offer made via chat line or phone call by their representatives is legally binding. So they can offer you five years of free anything and it’s all [Edit: Language] and Comcast won’t be held accountable.

Yep I just got a call like this on my cell a few minutes ago from a # in Hawaii ([Edited: "Invalid Phone Number"]) saying my 50% off my Comcast bill is only good for today... Definitely be calling the CSA on this, and also does the department have specific hours of operation?
