We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing when attempting to use Xfinity Stream. We are currently investigating a possible bug in Chrome 78 that may be causing this. In the meantime, we recommend trying one of the following workarounds by either:

1. Disable hardware acceleration in Chrome. Settings > Advanced > Use hardware acceleration when available > OFF > restart Chrome.

2. Play the TV GO version of the On Demand item. From the More menu button (… icon), choose Watch Options > choose the TV GO option (usually at the bottom of the list).

Thank you in advance for your patience as we continue to work to resolve this permanently.

I'm having the same issue with the streaming today. I tried the TV Go version as suggested and so far that seems to be working fine.

So when is this going to be fixed "permanently"? I watch all my TV through xfinity.com and this pretty much disables it for me...hardware accelaration didn't help. Might as well switch to youtube or hulu if you guys aren't going to fix it...

try chrome with new update issued today installed. remember this is a browser/computer/operating system issue not an xfinity issue.

This has been occurring with my on demand streaming also.  Nothing works, and I cannot access CBS or ABC in TVGO.  I was transfered to accelerated support who upgraded my cable box but that did not help.  Live streamingis fine.

Updated Chrome, On Demand problem still exists.

No, I just wanted to see if the problem was rectified with the hardware accelerator turned on. When it is turned off, the streaming quality is not fluid, smooth.
