I keep getting the above error code when trying to pair the remote. I tried restarting the box and removing the batteries from the remote and making sure they were good. It will not let me pair the remote to my reciever and it's highly frustrating.

Try to manually search for the receiver code and see if you get the same thing

I'm having the exact same issue as well. It started when we needed to switch 2 TVs w/their boxes around in our house. One TV requires one of the bigger boxes due to the type of cables it needs. The other TV can use the small box w/the HDMI. Neither TV will now allow me to program the remote to work with it.
