OK a couple weeks ago I posted in here that I could not get my XiD-C's (I have 2) to talk to the X1 DVR. Someone very kind @CCAndrew helped me troubleshoot that. The XiD-C in one room actually worked perfectly for about an hour and a half. Since then the XiD-C will not get Live TV (Won't Acquire a tuner??) I can access the DVR functionality, but no Live TV.
My cable comes into my master bedroom closet and I have an Amplifier with a MoCa Filter on it. Originally to get the XiD-C to work it was suggested to remove the MoCa filter. That doesn't "Seem" to make a difference.
I was also told to put the X-1 DVR on Port 1 and the XiD-C's on Ports 2 and 3. The one XiD-C that can connect is on Port 2 and the one that still cannot connect is on Port 3.
When I turn everything on I just get a blank black screen and if I try to tune to a channel (channel doesn't make a difference) I get an XRE-100007 error "Sorry that didn't go as planned" with an option to Restart Everything. Doing that doesn't do anything, I come back with the same error. I've also done a "System Refresh" so many times that it won't let me do it anymore without calling into XFinity.
Having the MoCa Network enabled or disabled on my router doesn't seem to make any difference either.
In a past life I was a network engineer, give me something with CAT5 and I can probably figure it out. But this makes ZERO sense to me. If anyone has any ideas I'd LOVE to hear them.

@CCAndrew Yes sir, both XiD-C's are brand new out of the shrink wrap.
@CCAndrew I REALLY appreciate you taking the time. I couldn't get that to work holding down the Exit button, but hodling down the Xfinity button did the trick. Here are the screen shots from the MoCa Stuff...
Also should point out that only two boxes are currently connected. The X1 DVR on Port 2 of the Amplifier and the Master Bedroom XiD-C on port 3 of the Amplifier. A Comcast Tech told me to move them from Ports 1 and 2 to ports 2 and 3 respectively.

So just for grins & giggles I looked at the MoCa status of the DVR. It says “noLink”....
let's start over a bit with wiring/equipment. you have 2 set top boxes (DVR and companion) and both are wired via coax, right? take off the 'filter' (POE) and look at each end of all the wires at the amp and at all the wall jacks to see if you have another POE somewhere in the wiring. the POE is normally at the entrance and is screwed to something metal as a ground block. take a picture of the amp where it says frequency range. note the names of the ports. is there one labeled as passive, phone, modem? is your modem connected to that? What modem do you have? if it is a Comcast rental is it a cube like tower or a tall skinny tower? if the latter look on the back and see if there is an LED on that has MoCA next to it.
@CCAndrew Thank you so much for all your help. I'm up and running and there were actually a couple of issues. You were bang on with the extra MoCa filter!! Your message made me remember that when I swapped my TiVo for the X1 DVR there was a filter on the cable connected to the X1 DVR and I just left it there. Had no idea what it was at the time, figured it was there for a reason so I left it.
A friend is an Xfinity Tech and he came over today (with proper social distancing guidelines and COVID-19 protective gear) and we were troubleshooting everything with his magic decoder ring and the two XiD-C's were just NOT seeing the X1 box. They were trying to connect to the Router as the MoCa master access point. Your note made me remember the filter on the back of the DVR. Once that was removed the box in the master bedroom could "kinda" work. Video was choppy and pixelated. So then my cousin's husband tested the signal coming into the home it was fine, coming out of the amplifier, it was not. It was severely degraded. We swapped out the amplifier and all is good!
So the extra MoCa filter was preventing the MoCa network from talking to the X1 DVR and the Amplifer was preventing anything from working properly.
Thanks again for your help!
