Xfinity Smart Resume not working

I had no problems with Smart Resume thru Tuesday or Wednesday of this week, but I know that for Thursday, Friday and Saturday it has not worked at all. None of the recordings from ABC, NBC,  CBS, or Fox have any commercial breaks marked at all.

Anyone have any ideas as to what has happened?

As far as my service is concerned it looks like they fixed the issue as related to ABC, NBC, and CBS on Monday. The prime time shows I marked for recording on Monday and Tuesday all had commercial breaks marked, and Smart Resume is working. It is also still working on Fox.

The programs I've recorded are now showing Smart Resume again.  I can't speak for other channels that I don't tend to record.

I see that on the X app.  A lot faster and less clunky skipping commercials than on the home box.  The quality of the image is still better on the box than the app.

I LOVE HI FEATURE, "SMART RESUME", HOWEVER, IT ONLY WORKS ON THE SAME RECORDED SHOW SOMETIMES.  HOW CAN I GET IT TO WORK ALWAYS?

it is only for prime time and 'prime' major networks. it works on some shows outside of prime time like SNL (saturday night live). it is a best 'efforts' to recognize the commerical breaks. time will tell if it gets better and more dependable.

Because no matter what if you've changed your package the past 4 to 6 months you automatically get 20 hours cloud DVR free , just ahead up, and if you pay the extra 10 bucks then you get 120 hours of recording space . I know it has nothing to do with smart resume, which still isnt working btw , but it was a question that I knew the answer to

Below is a link to some general information and FAQs on the Smart Resume feature. Not all shows and networks are currently available with Smart Resume.

I hate smart resume, the way it works there are ads either from sponsors or network that you HAVE to watch, you can't get past them, you try to fast forward and the screen jumps right back to where you started, sometimes this happens ten times before it will let you watch your program. When I record a football game i feel I would be better off fast forwarding manually.

you can fast forward through anything at any time on a recording. it sounds like you are playing on-demand titles.
