XG1v4 box not waking up when Samsung Q70 tv powers on

When I turn on my Samsung Q70 (Model QN65Q7DTAFXZA) tv using the tv remote, the tv turns on, the sound bar turns on, but the XG1v4 TV Box does not. My tv screen displays the screensaver from the Xfinity box with time and weather, but does not signal on. If I press a button on the Xfinity remote the box "wakes up" and I have picture.

I have tried disabling powersaver, disabling CEC, switching HDMI ports. Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) is enabled on the tv. I've tried disabling that, but did not help. Only made sound bar not work.

Please help!

Shoot...I was looking at buying a new Samsung Q80 tv.  Now I'm nervous.  Good luck getting help on here....I've been only frustrated in trying to get my X1 box issue resolved.

Why not just say HDMI 1  to switch to Comcast if it is conneted to that HDMI if you don't want to pick up the remote.  Works on my Samsung Smart TV.

@Bean1008  The tv and cable box will turn on fine using the Xfinity remote power button. But for me this is a workaround. Reason being,  I use Bixby or Google Home to turn on my tv and I want the cable box to power on with it. To have to pick up the Xfinity remote , hit a button for it to wake, defeats the "smart" purpose.

There is also another workaround with Bixby. When the tv powers on, I ask to open TV which launches Samsung TV Plus. Then ask to open Comcast which switches to cable/HDMI 1 and the box wakes up.

Well, it doesn't work on mine! At least when the tv first turns on. I said switch to HDMI 1. My tv said HDMI 1 is already set as the current screen source. On my tv I see the comcast screensaver, ads, time, temp etc. It just does not "wake up" and turn the light on the box. If I ask to switch to HDMI 3 my sound system , then swith to HDMI 1 then it works.

I can live with picking up my Xfinity remote or using it to turn on my tv and box. I just want an answer why it 's not working with my tv remote.
