X1 box switched now surround sound doesn't work.

I had a Tech come out today and he switched out boxes. During the setup of the new box he was setting it up and he said he set it wrong for my surround sound. He was going to go back in somehow and reset it but we got sidetracked. Now my surround sound receiver will not do 5.1. I've went through all the settings and I can not get it to work now. Any idea what is set wrong?

Connect your Surround sound system directly to your television with an HDMI cable (preferred). Other cables will work if not enough HDMI ports. Your television or S.S. manual will show the options you can use.
