For over a week now our Xfininity X1 box has been stuck at ,"Welcome Powering Up. This may take a few minutes...". I've unplugged and plugged the system back in a few times. I've tried calling but never get through because everyone is working remote now. The phone message says that there is an outage in my area and they are working on it, but when I look at the map I don't see anything.
Wondering what I can do to fix this. Social distancing without cable is pretty rough haha

That is probably the issue. What does your Status page say now?
That would indicate a weak signal reaching the box. I would check all cable-connections inside your home. Make sure you are connected to proper input and outputs.
If this does not work you may need to have a tech. come out to your home.
I have disconnected and re-connected the cables multiple times. When I go to the status page it just says, "Issue Detected" and that it cannot contact my box. It then says to schedule a date for a tech to come out, but given the current pandemic and that I work in healthcare I don't think thats the best idea right now. Any other thoughts? Anyone know how to speak to someone from Comcast right now? I just sit on hold for hours....
I will "Escalate" post for you. I don't know conditions in your area, but I will see if this helps.
Got through to a Rep over the phone finally who confirmed the box is broken. new one being sent out today.
