TV picture freezes, audio continues, can change channels

Secondary TV away from gateway with small cable box repeatedly freezes, audio continues. Most of the time channel picture freezes and remains, sometimes turns to just a color pattern. Can change channels with comcast remote, but cannot access guide. Hit power button on remote twice and TV turns off and comes back on in a few minutes. On TV (Vizio) remote I can access menu.  Main DVR box near gateway does not have any problems. Of note, this TV outlet is above a fireplace with wiring in the wall.  Did all I have seen on forum and online - replacing hdmi cable, uncoiling cable, unplugging etc. Comcast customer service resent signal several times. Moved same cable box to another outlet and connected it to old TV via cable only and no problems. I see that other people replaced their cable box multiple times with no success, so doubt it is cable box.  Had TV board replaced several months ago when was getting audio but no picture at all on TV, so doubt it is TV.  Do I call an electrician to check the wiring in the wall, comcast tech (per our initial comcast installer, they do not deal with wiring inside the wall like this, or TV repair?

you describe perfectly the HDCP protection turn-off of video when insecure Video path is detected. try reseating the HDMI cable at both set top box and TV (should hear a click).

My TV just started doing this same exact thing today. Has anyone figured out how to fix it?
