Your box shouldn't hum that loud to where it would bother you that much. I would highly suggest swapping out the box again. You can visit a local service center to swap the box for free. I’m on my 3rd box. 2 loud one broken all in an attempt not get Disney +. This humming is going to drive me insane.

I have this same issue. This is awful. I'd much rather take the old box back - and use ROKU for streaming options that the older X1 lacks.
Can we just walk in the Comcast store and swap it - no hassles?
If I have to live with this box I will quit and go back to satellite.
