Picture In Picture
When is comcast going to start offering Picture in Picture with the X1 platform? My friend has Oddyssey TV and they offer PIP. As the absolute Technology leader in the Cable and Wireless field, I cannot believe that Comcast does not offer PIP while a second tier company like Oddyssey does. The Oddyssey PIP does not require a second tuner box and is through the cable box and not a feature offered on a Smart TV. I love the X1 platform, but ever since I saw PIP at my friend's house, I feel a bit cheated. Please tell me PIP is something that is in the works and will be offered soon.
Thanx, jp

Robert, it wasn't picture in picture the X1 p!atform had, but the ability to see a small picture of what was playing when scrolling the guide when the B button was pushed. The B button was changed to be a shortcut to accessibility settings.

Really? You can view two cable channels at once with one cable box?

You can suggest PIP gets added but Comcast has never had PIP compatibility in its equipment. From a techs point of view, I doubt it will be added if it hasn't been added by now

Could you post a pic? I can't imagine what you are describing. Neither can @CCAndrew. Some boxes in Scientific Atlanta service areas had PIP over a decade ago, but Motorola and X1 boxes never did.

does your TV remote have a PIP button? you may have an antenna or other analog device connected and the TV is making the PIP.

The PIP on Samsung tv's shows one channel off a Comcast cable-box, and the other using the Tv's tunner for "over the air" channels. I have one.
