I have the X1 system with three TVs
For the last few weeks the MeTV network has no sound. The picture is fine. The closed captions work and the SAP is set to English. All the other channels have the normal picture and sound.
Other TVs in the house have the same problem.
I’ve also reset the SAP settings via the Xfinity menu.
SAP has 'no' language, set it off (no check mark).
edit: the UI (user interface) can be confusing. hit the Xfinity button on the remote >> gear (settings) >> Device Settings >> Audio >> audio language (SAP) reset and reset. that is the only way to turn off the SAP at the moment.
Hi Rustyben, I did the reset as you described and there is still no sound on the two channels.
using the xfinity remote press down. is there a check mark on any of the icons in the lower left part of the screen?

There are 3 gray circles for video description, SAP and CC. None of them have a check mark. They are gray circles with with text.
to test for a local broadcast problem, do you have sound with a smart phone/device?
