Identifying SCREENSAVER images

I need help identifying a location in a Comcast screensaver image.

WHERE IS THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE?!?WHERE IS THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE?!?

I've done enough research on this to know there are a *lot* of people who would like to know details about the xfinity screensaver. What would it hurt to put up a link where we can have this information? Especially because there are so many who are curious about a variety of images. Obviously, whoever chooses these things has wonderful taste. If they could post these on a Facebook page, or a web page, it would be really great!

I hope someone can help me here!

Thanks!

Sounds like this is now happening! The location info is now included on the image. Thanks for everyone's feedback and patience.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried Google Image Search AND Tineye, with zero results. I'm going to try to see if I can get a better picture. But so far, nothing. Nothing at all. I'm frustrated because I know from exploring the net that there are LOTS of people who want to know details and locations of images that appear in the screensaver. ARgh. Anyhow, thank you so much for taking the time to respond. 😄

I believe xfinity or comcast should tag each image with its location.  How hard could that

be?

Most of the pictures you’re looking at are of New Zealand. Particularly the one with blue water and small church is Lake Tekapo. I was just there. Another is the road to Milford sound.

It is yet another example of the poor customer support xfinity/Comcast provide.  Yes, how hard is it to post the identification of the images...it’s not.  Even big old Apple does that for their screensaver images on AppleTV.  This request has been out there for a few years by my research.  Something an intern could do.

@RickGr4 - The source that supplies pictures has all the details including the location as well. I passed the feedback asking to provide more information and hopefully, it will change in the near future.

Hello all,

We genuinely appreciate your interest in the photography within our X1 platform screensavers. Unfortunately. we are unable to supply the contact information for the source that supplies this content to us. We are pleased that you are enjoying it and we will pass your feedback to the X1 development team.

Thank you for choosing Comcast1

Many of us couch potatoes would like to know the locations of the photo screen savers. The location could be placed on the top or bottom of each screen saver. Personally, I am not asking for the photographer just the location. I think some wanted to know photographers, also.

Thank you,

This was posted on a public forum. I don’t understand the comment from a Comcast employee.
