I have to unplug and re-plug my set top bcx

Every time I turn on my tv I get “no signal” and I have to unplug the box and plug it back in.

Any idea why? Cables are tight.

Is it possible the remote isn’t activating it?

Box is a XiD-C

I swapped the current HDMI cable with another one I have and the tv is working fine now.

Thanks for the help.

is power saver turned off for the set top box in settings? have you ever tried changing HDMI inputs on the TV to something else and back to the set top box to see if that wakes up your TV's HDMI port?

So, I moved the tv slightly and the picture came on. I have the feeling my HDMI cable is toast

sounds like one end of the HDMI cable is not fully seated. sometimes people give up before feeling the good 'click' as the HDMI cable locks into the socket. You should feel a solid click as it locks into place.

Did anyone note in this thread that the TV needs to be off?
