Any solutions as to how to stop this, and instead ensure autoplay plays the next episode from the DVR, not On Demand?
Addendum to original post: I have of course tried all standard troubleshooting (toggled Autoplay off-on, reset X1, reset router) and have of course included all pertinent info (feature has worked fine in the past, no issues with DVR recordings).
Did it ever work that way you want? Might be a feature request.
I should read more carefully. Sorry.

... adding.. this is usually either MoCA can't connect between the set top box you are using and the DVR or the DVR is failing so no local recording. normally that would fall back to cloud recording. can you play the local recording that went to on-demand on the set top box DVR TV? on the stream app?
Thanks Comcast Chad.
When is the update expected? Play next episode is still playing On Demand instead of the recording on my DVR without giving me an option to choose as it used to.

I have the newest update and it is still happening. Does this update only apply to recordings done after the update or was it supposed to work on all recordings?
i watched the oldest of my 3 episodes of Evil. when it finished it offered and played the next DVR copy episode.
Fixed with latest X1 software update.
