3D? I thought Comcast, and most of the industry, dropped 3D support years ago... Just how is it displaying that makes you think it is trying to display in 3D?

I have had 4k 3D tv since January 2016. You are not watching a 3D show. You are getting a bad signal on your video. Sometimes it helps to stop the movie, delete it, and select the movie again. The video equipment used to stream the movie to you may have had a problem.

Additionally, Comcast discontinued 3D programming in late2016/early 2017, https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/TV/ANSWERED-3D-Programming-on-Xfinity-X1/ta-p/2940269
