What is status code 228?
I keep getting that on my DTA box and my X1 box also goes spotty and my gig cable modem has wonky speeds when all this happens.
I just got service this monday and paid for professional instalation so all 3 lines are direct from a splitter outside which is being served direct from the pole.
There is no "inside" wiring per-se, just holes drilled through the wall to a wall plate.
I had another tech come yesterday and replace the splitter and I'm still getting these problems.
The only thing I can think of is there's a problem with the line from the pole.
No on will tell me what 228 means and all they do is refresh the box which causes a 223 error for 20 minutes until the box reprovisions.
