Small cable box in bedroom goes off and needs power cord pulled to restart

The smaller box I rent needs to be manually unplugged and restarted every time.  If I try to do a refresh/restart from my APP, it  returns "We Couldn't Reach You Box".  This is an issue that started a couple of weeks ago and I have been to the store to get a new box and cables.  It did NOT fix this issue.  Very frustrating...
