Small cable box (M7) will not activate

We are now on the 3rd M7 model cable box and it won't activate.  We tested the same TV and hook up with a different model cable box that we have on another TV and the connection and cables are fine and it works showing all our channels.  We have tried calling Comcast and never can get a live support person to talk to in order to get this resolved.  I can't believe that 3 boxes would be defective and so maybe this model doesn't work with a high def smart TV? Please help we are very frustrated and refuse to continue driving 40 minutes 1 way to the Xfinity store to have it swapped only for the same results.  What is the definition of insanity???

I am having the same problem. Spent 45 minutes online and they couldn't get it to work and said no tech is available becasue of the virus but would put my request in. I have tried rebooting all my boxes and like you have switched the new box to another tv. I can get 2 stations. Channel 1 and channel 11. What is weird is when I try to go above channel 14 it goes directly to channel 1903. When I run the status it shows all boxes status unknown and the one box as connection issues. I have checked all things I can think of but ATT is starting to look better everyday.

I have two small boxes that are plugged in but won't work. The light doesn't light up and I have snow to watch. Not fun. There used to be a store near me but I'm not driving to State College or farther to replace these two. I sure as heck don't want a service call for two new boxes. My paying for something that isn't working.
