Remote Pairing Code for RCA Model RT1970-B television

What is the specific pairing code for an RCA Model RT1970-B television, to be used to pair it with the XR2 remote? I've tried each RCA code in the XR2 user manual several times and none appear to work. 

RCA support was no help. They directed me to www.remote-codes.com which has an invalid certificate.
