The PeacockTV streaming app installs and authenticates to my xfinity account on my 4 year old Samsung TV. What is disappointing is most Japan Olympics content appears to be live streamed (including replays) and not on demand; feels like pre-DVR days. :-(
It looks like the Olympic content being shown on Peacock is mostly livestreamed. It's supposed to be a first-of-its-kind Olympic viewing experience, but you should be able to access just about everything from the Olympic Games through X1 or Flex.
If you have Xfinity TV, all 7,000+ hours of NBC’s network, On Demand and streaming coverage will be available through X1 and the Xfinity Stream app in one easy-to-navigate destination.
Plus, if you have USA Network in your Xfinity TV package (and an Xfinity ID and password), you can access all of NBCUniversal's coverage of the Olympics Games Tokyo 2020 at https://comca.st/374WVYA and on the NBC Sports app.
