New box partially working

We just swapped an old box for new.  DVR and TV in another room works just fine.  On the new box, we get TV programming but will not access any of the OnDemand or DVR recordings.  How can I get full functionality on this box? I have reset the box and modem with no results.   Model MSCC9062

Is that the model you had or received? That’s really old

Model on receipt does not match box.  Box  is PR150BNM.  We can get regular TV but not DVR recordings.  Internet phone and downstairs TV work fine.  Talked to tech support 2 days ago and they could not access the box.  Technician is scheduled for 2 MONTHS  from now.
